Hi folks,
I've put *SWIRL* on hiatus for this month, so there won't be a 7/16 event - I need to recharge my batteries and have a little summer down-time. I will however be throwing a different event at the Catalyst this Saturday 7/9 and it is called Flirt! You can read all about it in the events section below - it would be cool to see some of you there (compatible with *SWIRL* but a different vibe). We just debuted it last month and it was received rather well. In the meantime regarding SWIRL, I'm going to admit I crave more feedback than I have received so far. All too often I feel that folks in the dark scene dismiss how much effort and energy goes into making things happen, especially on the weekends. So I would like to hear from you - drop me a line about your experience and what you want to see/hear.
ciao,
Shawn

Fri, July 8, 2005 - 2:49 PMI love *SWIRL*! Sorry to hear it's postponed. I wish I could go to FLIRT but it's the same night as SIN! and I can't pass up DJ Persephone & Apex in one night... :( -

Re: *SWIRL* notice
Fri, July 8, 2005 - 8:43 PMAs a former party promoter from socal, I fully appreciate how much effort it takes to organize something. In fact, you're using the vertical pronoun and it makes me wonder if you are doing all this by yourself. I was part of a whole crew and it was hard enough with a team; a solo promoter is something to be admired. So thanks. :) -

Re: *SWIRL* notice
Fri, July 8, 2005 - 8:45 PMPS, we ran into each other at BaGG on on wed in the upstairs room. So now perhaps you can connect the face with the tribe alter-ego.
cheers

Femme M,
I only just now discovered this tribe, and hence this event. I _adore_ swirly music, and do my best to make some of my own. I completely understand the need for a break, so take care of yourself ... when you come back, I do look forward to attending one of these events, to hear the ethereal stuff I so love (and hear so little of outside of my living room, or my iPod).
Regards,
John
